James Flinchum, Esquire
James Flinchum, Esquire, started at Myers Law Group in early 2016. His focus is in the domestic law area, including uncontested divorces, custody, and support. Attorney Flinchum diligently works in representing his clients and ensuring they receive a favorable outcome for their legal issues.
Attorney Flinchum graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Psychology. Starting the summer before his junior year, Attorney Flinchum worked at a local Pittsburgh firm while he was home on summer and winter breaks. His time at the law firm was spent assisting with data entry and property assessment appeals, as well as observing a wide variety of domestic law court procedures.
He received his Juris Doctor degree in 2015 from Duquesne University School of Law and passed the July 2015 bar exam. During the summer before his final year of law school, Attorney Flinchum worked at Family Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas as a Certified Legal Intern. His time as a Certified Legal Intern was spent working with the Allegheny County Solicitor's Office presenting out of county support cases as well as working with pro se clients to draft and present a diverse range of motions covering a broad spectrum of domestic law issues.
Prior to joining Myers Law Group, LLC in 2016, Attorney Flinchum worked for a large Pittsburgh law firm reviewing documents for a products liability case. Attorney Flinchum is not only a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, but also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
In his free time, Attorney Flinchum enjoys watching and attending all Pittsburgh teams' games as well as training for physique bodybuilding competitions.
